Tulips & Lilacs, Care of Aunt Sadie

Living in an apartment, the soft scent of fresh flowers filling my home is one of the parts of Spring I miss most. In my childhood house, my parents filled the yard with lilac bushes, peonies, daffodils and tulips. We'd throw the windows open every spring to let a soft breeze carry in the beautiful array of spring floral fragrances. For me, Spring smells like lilacs.
