The following help & how to guide will give you the information you need to ensure that you get the most from your new ReconstRx VaporIron.

Q: How does the Closure Latch Work?
A: To open the Closure Latch, simply hold the iron with one hand & use your index finger to pull up on the closure latch to disengage. To close, squeeze the iron arms together & hold in place while using your index finger to push downward on the closure latch until engaged.

Q: How do I turn the iron ON/OFF?
A: The power button is located in between the top & bottom arms, near the temperature dial. To turn the iron ON, simply press the ON/OFF button once. A red light will begin flashing, indicating that the power in on. Once the iron has reached the desired temperature the red light will remain static. To turn the iron OFF, simply press the ON/OFF button once more. The red light should turn off to indicate that the power is now off.

Q: How do I adjust the temperature?
A: The temperature adjustment wheel is located next to the ON/OFF button, in between the top and bottom arms of the iron. Simply turn the wheel to the desired temperature and turn on the iron. Once the flashing red light turns solid, the iron has reached the set temperature.

Q: How do I fill the iron reservoir with VaporFuel?
A: Pull back on the reservoir release button and remove the reservoir from the iron. Pull back on the the rubber reservoir cap and fill the larger of the two holes with K-Pak VaporFuel. Replace the rubber cap, making sure that both rubber plugs are completely inserted into the two reservoir openings. Then replace the reservoir by inserting the wide end of the reservoir first, pressing down on the reservoir until you hear it snap in place.

Q: My VaporIron seems to be leaking during use. What do I do?
A: Remove the reservoir from the iron, as described above. Be sure that the rubber cap on the back of the reservoir is securely in place. If there was any overflow from filling the reservoir be sure to wipe the back of the reservoir and then snap it back onto the iron. Listen for the "click" to ensure that you have replaced the reservoir correctly.

Q: My VaporIron is off and seems to be leaking. Why?
A: Liquid needs heat to convert to a vapor. When you turn your VaporIron off and engage the closure latch, be sure to switch the vapor button to the off position.

Q: Why don't I see the vapor?
A: The K-Pak ReconstRx VaporIron has been designed to trap the vapor in the plate channel area in order to achieve optimum infusion of the product into the hair. For this reason, the amount of visible vapor is minimal and may not appear as prominent as shown on the VaporIron box.
