Silver is fast emerging as one of the best antibacterial agents. Silver blocks the bacteria's ability to transfer oxygen through its cell walls, thus actually suffocating the bacteria. Sericin is a natural, soluble protein made from silk. Highly moisture-binding and film-forming, Sericin imparts a unique and highly aesthetic skin feel. Cor is suitable for every skin type, the pH of Cor soap is closer to your skin's natural pH than the average soap on the market. Your skin's natural pH level is 4.5. Cor soap has a pH of 7.2 while most other soaps have a pH level of 9.5-10.5. Cor's mild pH level means it is just as effective on troubled acne skin as it is on the most delicate and sensitive of skin.
Cor has undergone clinical studies in the USA by the FDA to test for irritation of the skin. The results of these tests have shown the Cor soap is benign, i.e., nobody in the study experienced any skin irritation.
