Zooey Deschanel
Zooey Claire Deschanel was born January 17th 1980. As a musician, actress, and singer-songwriter, Zooey has dabbled in a bit of everything. Born in raised in Los Angeles, it was clear at a young age that Zooey was going to be a star. As a kid, she used to hang out with Jake Gyllenhaal and Kate Hudson. Her plan was to attend Northwestern University to pursue a career in musical theatre, but dropped out seven months later to pursue acting. She made her film debut in 1999's comedy Mumford. She later appeared in the music video for The Offspring's She's Got Issues. She was also cast in Almost Famous (2000). After playing several supporting roles, she landed her first lead role in the 2003 hit All The Real Girls. Later that year, she appeared as her second lead role in Elf, opposite of Will Ferrell, which was and still is a hit. After several more lead roles, she landed her lead role in a TV series. She is now the lead actress in the new Fox series, New Girl. Although she focused heavily on acting, she also has time to fulfill her musical dreams. In 2002, she had her first on-screen musical appearance in The New Guy. She also sings in flicks such as Elf, 500 Days of Summer, Your Highness, and several times on her new hit series, New Girl. Zooey has also released a few albums of her own, including She & Him Volume One, Volume Two, and A Very She & Him Christmas, along with being featured on several tracks with several different artists. Aside from her professional life, she has made time for love. Zooey and Ben Gibbard (lead singer for The Postal Service, and Death Cab For Cutie) became engaged in December of 2008, and married in September 2009. The couple got divorced late in 2011, filing irreconcilable differences. Zooey is allergic to eggs, dairy, and wheat gluten was briefly on a vegan diet. Later, she reported to go off the diet because with all the allergies it was hard for her to stay healthy. She has also been heard stating that she has Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). Eyes
- Start off using the Tigi High Density Eyeshadow Quad in Posh. This perfect compact has all the colors you will need to achieve this look! Start off using the medium shimmery-brown color from the lash line to the crease of the eye with the Tigi Shadow Dome Brush. Then, use the purple color and blend it into the crease. Using the natural brown color, apply from the crease to the brow bone, making sure to blend all the colors well using the Tigi Blending Brush. You can also apply this color to the inner corner of the eye to get a more open-eyed effect. Finish up with the darker shimmery-brown color on the outer corner of your eye, as well as under your lash line.
- Line your top and bottom lash line with Tigi Perfect Eyeliner in Black. Apply a more dramatic line to the top lash line and a more smudge, natural looking line to the bottom lash line.
- Using the Model In A Bottle Eyelash Curler, curl your top lashes to achieve an open-eyed look.

Hair
- Start by cleansing and conditioning with Tosca Shine Enhancing Shampoo and Conditioner. These products will add tons of natural looking shine into your locks!

- Blow dry your hair and curl.

Lips

- Finish off with a plumping lip gloss, such as Bella Il Fiore Operation Kiss Me. This great gloss is clear making it a great top coat.
Skin
- Start off using DuWop Doubleglow7 Face Balm in Champagne. This product can be worn under, over, or instead of foundation. Here, we are going to use it as a base.
- Next, apply a powder foundation. We suggest using DuWop Mattillume in Lighter. This product is an all-day baked clay mask with the feel and look of a translucent powder. It draws out the impurities from your face to the surface to be washed away at night!
- Finish off the look with some blush, such as DuWop Cheek Venom in Sidewinder.
