Go ahead, crimp your
style...curls are in! Tired of
playing it straight hair wise?
There has never been a better
time to catch a wave...whether
they are natural or made with
the help of a curling or
crimping iron! To keep those
curls from looking dry, add any
moisture based finishing product
or molding mud. Try twisting the
curls into place and then air
drying them, occasionally
scrunching the curls with your
hands as it dries. If your hair
has more wave than curl and you
would like to intensify the
curl, follow the previous
directions and dry by scrunching
with a diffuser. Always toss
your head upside down to get
more volume. There are many new
products on the shelves
especially designed for curls,
so get into your local salon and
check them out.
Messy is in, too! It works great
for wavy or curly hair, as well
as straight hair...but if you
have straight hair, you'll have
to add texture with a
texturizing product. Just put
your hair up in a French twist.
Start with a low pony tail and
twist the tail up toward the top
of your head, and secure it with
bobby pins (don't forget to hide
those bobby pins, though). Then
tease the front section to give
your hair a little height. Then,
pull the front, teased portions
back and pin in into place,
allowing the wispy, messy ends
to fly free. |
