Samantha Harris was born and raised in Hopkins, Minnesota by a rock and roll promoter father and a mother who was a trained and skilled dancer. Samantha is not only beautiful, but she has the brains to complete the total package! An avid reader and conscientious student, Samantha pursued journalism at Northwestern University in Illinois. She graduated with honors and set her sights on a career in the entertainment industry, and it wasn’t long before this natural beauty was getting noticed! Although she is most recently known as the co-host of Dancing with the Stars, Samantha is also the talented brunette bombshell that writes, produces, and reports daily for E! News. She is the co-host for the network's live coverage for the Oscars, Golden Globes and Emmys. Morning show viewers have also previously enjoyed Samantha's contributions as a special correspondent on ABC's "Good Morning America". Before all of this, Samantha played Miss Burnsville in the 1999 Blockbuster hit “Drop Dead Gorgeous” and in 2000 she starred as “Miss Minnesota.” On top of all of this television career success, Samantha is also a model; she is a three-time cover girl for Muscle & Fitness Hers, been a featured model in Maxim, Self, and Shape magazines as well as numerous ads and commercials. Samantha loves staying in shape, and enjoys activities such as dancing, kick-boxing, yoga and hiking too keep her perfect shape. Samantha and her husband, Michael, are expecting their first baby in October 2007.
